S#arp Attitude is the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s only all-treble a cappella group. S#arp Attitude was founded by Alissa Platcow and Melinda Packer in January of 2011.

 

Since then, S#arp Attitude has performed at the ICCAs, hosted the annual Lady Jam concert where other all-female-identifying a cappella groups come and perform, and released two studio albums: Hallucinate (2022) and Déjà Vu (2017), available to stream on iTunes, Spotify, and Soundcloud. The 2017 A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA) named Déjà Vu the Best Female Collegiate Album! One of the tracks on Déjà Vu, Boy (opb. Little Mix), was part of the 2017 Best of College A Cappella (BOCA) compilation album, available to stream on iTunes.

S#arp Attitude has also performed at various events such as the Dwellings Arts Festival in Northampton, NE Voices, and has performed with groups from around the Northeast Region.
